region. $2.6 billion/annum is spent on dogs. A recent PawStop survey
found 84% of dog lovers would take their dogs with them if they
knew of businesses that were pet-friendly

Sam Smith of Canberra.
Sam has 2 dogs Nero (black) and Patch (white) as well as two cats Figaro and
Cicero. Sam is currently studying nursing and midwifery at university
but loves coming home of an evening to spend time with her little
family.
“We have a simple life” Sam says, “we spend our time playing ball,
going for walks around the neighbourhood and at night we watch TV
together and share a muffin. Sam says she’s looking forward finding
out about more PawStops where she, Nero and Patch can spend time
with other Dogs and their owners.

Our first featured PawStop pet is Mignon. Mignon is French for
small well she was small when she was a
puppy! Shes a twelve year old Kelpie-Cattle Dog cross
who lives with her owners Jean, John and Megan in Wanniassa
in the ACT.
